Matt Grosland

I graduated from the Nashville School of Law with the highest GPA in the school's 101-year history. I began my legal career with the Sumner County Public Defender's office, where I represented numerous clients in cases ranging from felony drug crimes, sex crimes, theft, robbery, and numerous other areas. I was proud to enjoy nearly five years of successful private practice. After the COVID pandemic, I spent an additional 3 years in the Public Defender's office, and recently returned to private practice.

I have been a mediator for 7 years and have sat as special judge in our General Sessions court. My 20 years as an IT professional and lifetime as a classical musician has helped me benefit my clients in unique and creative ways.

I am also a huge youth hockey fan and enjoy broadcasting youth hockey games whenever I can.
