Matt Grosland
I graduated from the Nashville School of Law in 2012 with the highest GPA in the school's 101-year history at the time. I began my legal career with the Sumner County Public Defender's office, where I represented numerous clients in cases ranging from felony drug crimes, sex crimes, theft, robbery, and numerous other areas. I was proud to enjoy nearly five years of successful private practice, where I handled matters involving trademark, copyright, divorce, and criminal cases. After the COVID pandemic, I spent an additional 3 years in the Public Defender's office, then returned to private practice in 2024.
I have been a Rule 31 listed mediator since 2017 and have sat as special judge in our General Sessions court. My 20+ years as an IT professional and lifetime as a classical musician have helped me benefit my clients in unique and creative ways.
I am also a huge youth hockey fan and enjoy broadcasting youth hockey games whenever I can.

Matt did an outstanding job for me and my case. The outcome was much better than I thought possible. Thanks, Matt.

I appreciate that your professionalism and sound advice was always prompt and consistent and were never discounted. Having you as my counsel was one of the best decisions I could have made. I wish the very best for yourself, your family, and your firm.
